Is there a Right type of Mentor?

We all like the idea of having a mentor.  Thing is, there isn’t a “right” type of mentor or a “right” way to mentor.  I’ve had many mentors in my career.  One helped me understand mechanical refrigeration principles.  Another helped me understand the other side of business – financials, collections, and troubleshooting.  Another helped me understand Human Resources – the people issues that are getting increasingly complex.
